A 6-Day Soul Amalgamation
Prologue from Margie:
I have been conducting retreats in Kyoto since 2013. I was always amazed by the student transformations in one short week. Starting January, I debut the De-Light Healing workshop on the second day of the retreat. The feedback was very positive and encouraging. Nevertheless, what had taken place in the De-Light Retreat in March was beyond my wildest imagination. Christa, whom I never met, had a soul amalgamation in 6 days.
The
retreat was a truly amazing and miraculous journey. One day, my friend Wing told
me that she and another friend Kaylie had dreamed about me the
night before and asked how I was doing. I was in an extremely exhausted state,
physically unwell in my neck, head, and throat. And
I felt mentally burned out at work; have been taking care of
other people too much. I was longing for a short break.
Then, my friend mentioned she was going on a retreat in a week’s time. Without hesitation, I proactively asked if I could join her. That’s
when the amazing journey began.
On
the second day during the class, I realized that I often act in opposition to
what I truly want in my heart. I constantly force myself to adopt a
“professional self,” which may not be what I genuinely desire. I became aware
that my mind and body were out of alignment, and my daily behaviors had been
neglecting the needs of my heart and soul.
On
the morning of the third day, I suddenly woke up around 5:00 AM and reflected
on a message that resonated within me: “You have been too harsh on yourself…” I
recognized that I often fail to appreciate my daily achievements. Whenever I
accomplish something, I tend to push myself a little harder to meet even higher
standards (which I gave to myself rather than other people gave me). This
realization brought me a sense of relief.
By the fourth day,
after a hike, I felt that the tension in my muscles and body had significantly
lightened. I was more relaxed and filled with contentment with every bite of
food, feeling deeply touched and surrounded by love.
On the fifth day, I dreamed of someone calling my Chinese name, and it felt
like a sign that I was reuniting with my true Self. (I
later checked my sleep data on my sport watch and saw that I was in REM sleep
at that time.)
The trip was truly rejuvenating, and even my colleagues noticed a difference in
me when I returned to work. I felt happier, fresher, and more
energized.
- Christa
Let me explain a bit further.
Christa’s two friends are Wing and Kaylie; both my doyen. Wing was a good friend of Christa for many years. And Kaylie has met Christa only once in Wing’s wedding party. When both Wing and Kaylie dreamt of Christa in the same night, it means that her soul reaches out to them. Our soul is an animate existence who transcends time and space; it is here to serve our highest good. Christa’s soul knew that she needed to join the retreat and thus appearing in their dreams.
